MARSC Promotes Shaw, Appoints Molloy
Surrey, UK-based MR community and panel management tech company MARSC has promoted Allan Shaw to the position of Director of Sales & Marketing, while appointing industry veteran Pat Molloy as a non-executive member of its Board.
MARSC's sample and panel tools are used for broad consumer research or for smaller panels dedicated to specific topics, and the sampling tool can also be used to manage surveys using other data collection methods including telephone research.
Shaw re-joined the firm in 2013 as Sales Manager, having previously worked as a UK Senior Account Manager at panel exchange operator Cint, before which he was Head of Business Development at MR IT services specialist Cobalt Sky. He first worked for MARSC as Business Development Manager between 2008 and 2010.
Molloy, who was recently appointed as CEO of Data Liberation, joins the Board with a career that includes a stint at media measurement specialist Salience Insight, serving as CEO of Pulse Train (acquired by Confirmit in 2007), and as Confirmit's Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to this he was a main Board Director at NOP; MD of Quantime (later acquired by SPSS); and CTO at Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS). He is also a Committee Member at Triple-S Group, and a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society.
Julian Simpson, MARSC MD, comments: 'Pat brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the MARSC Board, which will help with our strategic positioning in the market, while Allan has been appointed as full Board Director to recognise his significant contribution to the business over the last two years.'
