DVJ Insights Expands to UK
Dutch research firm DVJ Insights has opened an office in London, led by Roy Patel, who previously served as Lightspeed Research's VP of Sales and Business Development, EMEA.
Founded in 1996 as a music research specialist, DVJ Insights now offers a full service, with an emphasis on branding, communications, media, and shopper research. The company has its own panels in Europe, as well as its MediaLAB, through which it conducts virtual shopping and packaging research. According to the firm's co-owners Ronald Jansen and Lucas Hulsebos, the majority of DVJ's revenue currently comes from European clients, conducting European and global projects.
Patel (pictured) joins the new office after working at Kantar-owned Lightspeed Research, before which, he set up the UK operations for Dutch online research agency MetrixLab, served as Head of Sales and Account Management at Nielsen/NetRatings, and he was a founding member of the UK commercial operation of Internet measurement specialist Jupiter Media Metrix (now part of comScore). As well as his new role at DVJ Insights, Patel is the European Regional Head for US online sample and research operations company Market Cube.
