Kantar Extends Israeli TV Measurement Contract
The Israeli Audience Research Board (IARB) has extended Kantar Media's contract for television measurement until 2019.
The company and its predecessors have been delivering the official TV ratings service to IARB and its members since 1998. As part of the extended contract, the panel size will be increased by 20% to 700 households, and viewing habits will be measured across all channels. In addition, the initiative will provide detail on niche programme audiences in the market.
Richard Asquith (pictured), Global CEO, Kantar Media Audiences, comments: 'Since the service went live in 1998, we have continuously delivered high quality data on the viewing habits in Israel. We are confident that the advanced and hybrid techniques that we are developing will meet the needs of Israel's TV industry in the future whilst maintaining the ratings service to the highest international standards.'
