Talkwalker Social Media Analysis Rolled Out in US
European social media monitoring and analytics platform Talkwalker has opened an office in New York, and hired former Kantar Media exec Todd Grossman as CEO Americas.
Talkwalker's social media data intelligence platform monitors and analyzes online conversations on social networks, news web sites, blogs and forums in more than 187 languages. The tool was developed by Trendiction, a privately held company founded in 2009 and based in Luxembourg.
Grossman (pictured) joins from Kantar Media-owned monitoring and evaluation services company Precise Media, where he served as MD, Americas and Chief Revenue Officer for the past two years. Before this, he spent nearly two decades with PR Newswire; latterly serving as VP of Sales and Client Services for the firm's MultiVu broadcast and multimedia business.
