Technology and Innovation
After a series of five very successful Net Effects conferences and a first exploration of CRM, ESOMAR is using 'Technology & Innovation' as the framework to define and understand the integration of Market Research, the Internet, CRM Analytics, Data Mining and New Media channels. The event will be held in Cannes, France from 26-28 January 2003.
This new ESOMAR platform will gather marketers, technologists and researchers to share thoughts, ideas, and issues while promoting discussions across a broad array of integrative topics. The conference is covering areas as diverse as: CRM & MR Convergence, New Techniques & New Theories, Wireless Research, New Media and a panel discussion on the Future of Convergence.
High calibre presentations under the framework described above will focus on the importance of market research techniques, processes, and methods in an emerging technology and innovation-driven world - and ideas that will spark debates and stimulate thought and fresh discussions.
'The role of technology and innovation within Marketing Research (MR) has changed considerably over the last decade. The Internet alone warranted several years of attention as we grappled with its place among established research approaches. Now its time to move on and look at what else new technologies can offer' says Andrew Elder programme committee chairman.
Among those speaking are representatives from Zarca Interactive, USA; Intage Inc., Japan; ACORN Market Research, Hong Kong; Strategi/Mori, Turkey; CRM Metrix, France; Europinion, UK; NOP Business, UK; Wireless Opinion Scandinavia, Sweden and Techneos Systems Inc., Canada.
