ACNielsen and ESA Agreement
In a new agreement, 150 part-time data collectors and three area coordinators in the UK are to have their employment contracts transferred from ACNielsen to ESA, the St Albans based retail research specialists. ESA is currently ACNielsen's first-choice supplier for outsourced fieldwork and will be contracted to supply much of the regular pricing and causal data collection.
Karen Worton, Operations Director at ACNielsen said 'This decision makes a lot of sense as it allows us to concentrate on our core areas of adding value and providing insight for our clients, whilst outsourcing much of the ad hoc data collection surveys that our clients need. Being a smaller, niche operator, ESA is well placed to provide the fast and flexible data collection services that are part of our clients requirements.'
Tony Keen, Chairman of independently owned ESA added 'We are delighted that ACNielsen has recognised our retail experience and abilities by awarding us this substantial contract.
