Federated Sample Shuffles Leadership Team

Andy Ellis, President of sampling automation provider Federated Sample, has transferred to lead the firm's sample management and exchange business Fulcrum, where he will oversee product, sales and operations.

New Orleans-based Federated Sample was founded in 2010 by former OTX Research executive Patrick Comer. Last October, the firm spun off its Fulcrum platform as an independent division, led by Michael McCrary, while Ellis took the helm at Federated Sample. Now, Ellis replaces McCrary, who becomes Chief Revenue Officer of Federated Sample.

Comer comments: 'With Federated Sample now poised to become the leader in programmatic sampling, we've decided to focus Andy's energy on our exchange business. Michael has been an integral part of our growth story since 2011, and has shaped both our product and strategy. The Chief Revenue Officer position enables him to drive global expansion, strengthen and attract new enterprise level partnerships, and launch new lines of business.'

A search has now begun to fill the role of President of Federated Sample.
