'Brand Ambassador' Specialist ReadyPulse Raises $5m
In the US, brand ambassador sourcing specialist ReadyPulse has received $5m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use to expand into additional vertical and geographic markets.
ReadyPulse's platform 'Pulse Marketing Suite' uses patented technology to find a company's most effective brand ambassadors on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, by analyzing the digital content produced by those individuals. Brand marketers then use the platform to recruit influencers, involve them in product launch campaigns for product reviews, and promote their social media content across digital channels. The firm claims that its platform is currently driving one billion brand impressions a month.
CEO and co-founder Dennis O'Malley (pictured) comments: 'As an aspirational brand, it's difficult to find the right ambassadors to represent you. And it's difficult to find the best social media content to display in your marketing, and permissions, disclosures, and notifications are also challenging. We set out to solve that. Simply put, we want to bring inspiration and confidence to every consumer who is making a researching or buying decision online.'
The firm's new funding has been led by Walden Venture Capital and Rally Ventures, and follows earlier seed financings totalling $2m from various early-stage investors.
