Acxiom Hires Leader for New Audience Solutions Division
In the US, enterprise data and analytics software firm Acxiom has appointed former Experian exec Rick Erwin as President and General Manager of its newly formed Audience Solutions division, which comprises the company's Data and Decision Sciences assets.
Acxiom combines consumer data and analytics, data integration and consulting solutions for personalized, multichannel marketing - including a suite of products to provide customer segment data based on lifestyle and intent to purchase profiles. The firm is headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas with additional locations around the US, and in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
Erwin (pictured) joins with two decades of marketing services experience. For the past ten years, he served as President of the Consumer Insights and Targeting Division of Experian Marketing Services, during which time, he led the turnaround and growth of seven legacy data and analytics businesses. He also held a number of senior management positions during his twelve-year career at RR Donnelley.
In his new Redwood City, California-based role, Erwin will be responsible for driving the strategy, growth and profitability of Acxiom's data and recognition products and services. He will report to CEO Scott Howe, who comments: 'Rick is an extraordinary leader with a deep understanding of the value of data-driven marketing.
