New Director at AMI Healthcare
Asia Market Intelligence (AMI), which rebrands as Synovate in January 2003, has this week announced a new Director of its Asia Pacific healthcare division.
Stuart Bartlett will join the company on 2 January 2003. Reporting directly to the CEO of Asia Pacific, Mr Bartlett will be responsible for managing and developing the AMI Healthcare business across the region. He is replacing Scott Davies as head of Healthcare. Tim Balbirnie, CEO of AMI Asia Pacific, said the company was sad to lose Scott, but delighted to have found such a high-calibre replacement. 'Under Scott Davies leadership, the AMI healthcare business has grown from a small operation centralised in Hong Kong three years ago, to a full regional operation dedicated to healthcare research across Asia. Stuart is well placed to take the division to another level next year. We will continue to develop our healthcare capabilities across Asia Pacific and expand our service offering to clients. To help achieve this goal we have the added benefit of Synovate's global scale and scope.' Mr Bartlett has left his position as Country Manager of Isis Research Hong Kong to take up the AMI Healthcare position. In that role, he was responsible for developing business, new services and markets in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. Throughout his career, he has focused on the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, with previous senior roles in Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.
