JWT Opens Business Intelligence Practice
WPP-owned marcoms network J.Walter Thompson has launched a global business intelligence practice, offering a combination of research, innovation and data analytics across its global network.
Known as 'J.Walter Thompson Intelligence', the new division will comprise three in-house practices: qual/quant research unit Sonar, which is led by Mark Truss; data and technology application specialist Analytics, led by Amy Avery; and future trends company The Innovation Group, led by Lucie Greene.
The practice will operate from Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and North America, and be overseen by Worldwide Planning Director Guy Murphy (pictured), who comments: 'This is a powerful alliance of skills, harnessing leading edge practices and cross-fertilizing their knowledge. It will fuel another leap forward in our understanding of humanity and how to apply that to clients' business ambitions.'
