Street Fight Hires Tech Analyst David Card
In New York, marketing technology information provider Street Fight has appointed tech and media industry analyst David Card to head up its Street Fight Insights research arm.
The company, which was set up in 2011 by business journalists Laura Rich and David Hirschman, publishes daily content and research and hosts several conferences a year. Card (pictured) most recently served as VP of Research at technology news, trends and analysis provider Gigaom, where he helped launch a research service that reached millions of readers each month. Prior to this he was Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, worked for Jupiter Research in charge of digital media and marketing research, and was VP of Research and Development at IDC.
In his new role as Research Director, Card will oversee annual publications such as Street Fight's 'Local Merchant Report', which offers in-depth marketing tech analysis. He will also help with the development of new products.
