Cooke to Lead Harris Interactive UK Communities Arm
Harris Interactive UK has promoted company veteran Pete Cooke to head up its new Communities division.
The firm was acquired by Toluna parent company ITWP from Nielsen last summer. Its new Communities arm aims to help clients develop purpose-built, customisable communities along with a suite of real-time reporting tools. The service allows Harris to blend multiple data sources including community opinions, transactional and behavioural data, CRM information, social media feedback, and data from the company's own online panels.
Cooke (pictured) takes up his new role after fifteen years with Harris Interactive UK. Most recently, he served as Group Head of TMTE (Telecoms, Media, Technology and Entertainment), before which he was Head of Business Development, and he spent nearly nine years as a Director for the Business & Tech sector. In his new position, Cooke will be supported by a global team of panel experts, while Steve Evans and Denholm Scotford jointly take over his previous role, leading the TMTE practice in the UK.
Frederic Charles Petit, CEO ITWP, comments: 'We are delighted with Pete's appointment to lead and develop the Harris Interactive Communities practice. Combining technology and automation with Harris Interactive's sector and research expertise is a key part of our strategy to develop the company moving forward'.
