WPP Promotes Ingram to Chief Client Officer Role
WPP has promoted Tamara Ingram to the new position of Chief Client Officer, overseeing more than 50 client teams and all the marcoms giant's global accounts.
Most recently, Ingram (pictured) served as UK Group CEO of WPP ad agency network Grey Worldwide and CEO of WPP client practice Team Procter & Gamble (P&G). Prior to Grey, she was President of WPP Kantar companies - consumer consultancy Henley Centre, global marketing insights firm Added Value, and buzz marketing agency Fusion5. Earlier in her career, she served as CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi and of McCann-Erickson in the UK, and she worked in film production.
As well as taking on new responsibilities, Ingram will continue as CEO of Team P&G across WPP's network, and will remain based at Grey's New York HQ.
In an internal communication, WPP CEO Sir Martin Sorrell stated: 'There are few people who understand the requirements of global client management better than Tamara'.
