Senior Hire for Ipsos Public Affairs
Ipsos Public Affairs has hired Reputation Institute veteran Leonard Ponzi in the newly created role of SVP and MD of its US corporate reputation practice.
Ponzi, who started earlier this month, oversees fifteen execs and reports to Clifford Young, president of Ipsos Public Affairs in the US. His remit includes raising the brand awareness of the practice in the US, and expanding the breadth and depth of its research and advisory offerings. He comments: 'Ipsos provides an awesome platform for data science and analytics and I believe it will be one of the premier reputation management practices globally'.
Prior to joining, Ponzi was managing partner of the Reputation Institute's global research and analytics team for nine years, leading a team of 25. He announced he was stepping down from this role in December but stayed until last month to honor a non-competition agreement. Before joining the Institute in 2006, he worked at MR firms including GfK, where he was a Senior Research Director for custom research.
