New Name and Broader Focus for Communispace

Boston-based consumer collaboration specialist Communispace has changed its name to C Space. With a new focus on 'Customer Inspired Growth', the firm says it has expanded its consulting and innovation teams, and its capability in storytelling and creative services.

Charles TrevailC Space says its new name 'reflects its commitment to helping brands partner with their customers to drive business growth' - the C stands for the customer, and the 'Space' is 'where brands and customers work together via online communities, in-person events, and other unique collaboration methods, bringing brands closer to the people they serve to achieve Customer Inspired Growth'.

Promise Communispace and Jigsaw International, the agency's European and Asian consultancies, will also operate under the new unified brand name, which CEO Charles Trevail (pictured) says 'captures the essence of what we have always believed: customers are the creative and essential force to help businesses stay agile and adapt in order to keep growing and succeed'.

Founder and Chairman Diane Hessan, who as CEO led the firm's sale to Omnicom Group in 2011, comments: 'It's exciting to have all of our global brands under one new name. More importantly, this shift is a reflection of our broader set of capabilities. Where we were once known mainly as a community provider, we have real depth in many new areas'.

The company is headquartered in Boston, London and Shanghai, with offices in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Amsterdam and Mexico City.
