AdRoll Launches Customer Data Pooling Tool
San Francisco-based ad retargeting platform AdRoll has launched a new product called Prospecting, through which marketers can pool their data to reach new customers.
AdRoll helps clients create personalized ad campaigns based on their own web site data. The new tool allows advertisers to pool their first-party customer data to create a large set of potential customers called the IntentMap. More than 1,000 advertisers have already opted in to the initiative, giving it more than a billion anonymous user profiles.
Once an advertiser has opted in, the tool pinpoints new users who have similar behavioural patterns to a business' existing customers. AdRoll claims that this combination of high-intent, first-party data and predictive algorithms has already helped advertisers see an average 10% increase in engagement.
