Norstat Hires Country Manager for New Italian Office
Oslo, Norway-based fieldwork group Norstat has appointed Francesco Renga as Country Manager for Italy, based in its newly opened office in Milan.
Norstat provides qualitative access to online consumer panels in nineteen countries, and other traditional data collection methods in some of those markets. The firm also has offices in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the UK and Germany.
Renga (pictured) joins with more than ten years' MR industry experience, gained both in Italy and the UK. Most recently he worked at Millward Brown as an AD, before which he was a Researcher at GfK Eurisko and Ales Market Research, an Account Manager at the iD Factor, and International Project Manager at Field Facts Worldwide.
For historical reasons, Norstat Italy has previously been a business unit of Norstat Germany. The company says the appointment of Renga as Country Manager marks the beginning of a separate Italian entity. COO Erling Eriksen comments: 'We have seen a steady growth in our Italian business over the last few years and we are now eager to invest even more resources into one of the biggest markets in Europe. We observe a huge potential in this market and in Francesco Renga we have found a candidate that will allow us to both grow the business even more and take excellent care of both current staff and clients'.
