New CEO for Quantifind Insight Platform
Menlo Park, CA-based big data insights platform Quantifind has appointed David Karnstedt as Chief Executive Officer, to lead the company's growth and oversee operations. He succeeds co-founder Ari Tuchman, who is taking on the role of President.
Quantifind's platform applies mathematical models to help marketers analyze a mix of historical financial data and unstructured conversations. Its flagship product suite Signum extracts revenue-driving factors from big data, and distils it into what the firm describes as 'clear statements' of opportunity.
Karnstedt (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience helping CMOs use marketing technologies to drive business results. Most recently, he led Adobe's global digital marketing efforts across search, display, video and data management platforms. He joined Adobe after it acquired ad buying platform Efficient Frontier, where he had worked as CEO and President. Earlier, he was SVP North American Sales at Yahoo!, and he held senior roles at AltaVista, Wired Digital and CR Bard Davol.
He joins Quantifind after serving on the company's Board of Directors since 2013. Tuchman comments on the appointment: 'I've worked closely with David for several years, and the depth and breadth of his experience make him the perfect complement to our management team. David's deep knowledge of marketing SaaS platforms, like Quantifind's Signum, will be a huge asset as we look to build on our success'.
