Schlesinger Promotes for Top Online Qual Role
US-based Schlesinger Associates has promoted Jason Horine to the role of Vice President Client Development, in charge of its Online Qualitative Solutions division.
The firm has a network of fourteen focus group facilities in the US, and also owns Paris-based fieldwork services agency ConsuMed Research, and focus group facilities provider Passerelles; London firm The Research House; and Schmiedl Markforschung, a fieldwork services agency and provider of focus group facilities in Germany.
Horine (pictured) joined in 2002 and worked on traditional qual data collection, subsequently building up experience in online surveys and communities, webcam-enabled focus groups and discussion boards for the healthcare, consumer and business-to-business markets.
In his new role, Horine will focus on client partnership, operational excellence and developing the company's strategic partnerships with providers of online qualitative research technology. Commenting on the news, Debby-Schlesinger-Hellman, EVP, Qualitative Solutions, said: 'Jason brings a wealth of expertise to this leadership role where his vast project management experience and his in-depth knowledge of a wide range of online tools and their specific applications will be a valuable asset for our clients'.
