Jason Solack to Lead Gongos Data Science Practice
US research provider Gongos has named long-term employee Jason Solack as Vice President of its Data Science practice, O2 Integrated. The firm has also promoted Crystle Uyeda to the role of Director, Business Development.
The O2 Integrated practice works as an extension to client companies on a retained basis, helping to bring together disparate data sources from primary research to companies' own and third-party data. Solack (pictured), who joined Gongos in 1998, most recently served as Senior Director of the O2 practice. Earlier, he was Director, IS-Programming, in charge of a team of nine programmers who are responsible for data collection and data processing of all quant research. In his new position, Solack will be responsible for leading the group, which comprises analytics, information systems and sampling.
Uyeda has been promoted after more than seven years at the company. After an initial spell co-ordinating and managing consumer research studies, she worked with the leadership team to develop a new position helping teams provide better client service.
CEO Camille Nicita comments: 'Jason continuously learns and applies new knowledge in both the analytics and technical arenas. His ability to create strong and efficient people systems and collaborative environments drives the synergies across our new and multidisciplinary talent. And as an industry-recognized 'rising star' by Survey magazine, Crystle has the perfect blend of cross-industry knowledge and drive to think 'beyond the RFP' and stated client needs'.
