Social Media Targeting Firm RadiumOne Promotes Four

In the US, social media ad targeting specialist RadiumOne has made four senior promotions, including Dimitri Vaynblat to the role of Chief Technology and Data Officer.

San Francisco-based RadiumOne collects data relating to social media usage and interaction, then weights it and segments users into 'social clusters'. The firm has two patents for its ShareGraph proprietary technology, which helps marketers find the users most closely connected to their brand's known customers by analyzing their online sharing behavior. In June, the company secured $54m in equity and debt financing, which it is partly using to expand its global reach into Asia Pacific and Europe.

Vaynblat (pictured) joined the company in 2011, and most recently served as its SVP of Data, Optimization and Product Strategy. Prior to this, he co-founded data management and audience optimization tech firm Red Aril, for which he was CTO and VP Products and Operations. Earlier, he was VP of Product Strategy and Behavioral Targeting at NebuAd; and he led the Operational and Strategic Planning group at tech services firm Exigen Group. He began his career at McKinsey & Co, leading the design of large-scale models of consumer behavior.

The three other promotions are CFO Anna Baird, who takes on the additional role of President, overseeing the company's sales, client services, business and corporate development; Mike Werner, who led North American Sales, and now becomes EVP of North American Sales; and former Chief Product Officer Dave Zinman, who becomes Chief Operating Officer.
