Liquid Buys Analytics Firm CommandIQ
Ad tech platform Liquid has announced the acquisition of San Francisco-based predictive CRM company CommandIQ, whose Chief Exec Noah Jessop joins Liquid's data and analytics team as Head of Data.
Jessop (pictured) has been CommandIQ's CEO since 2013 and will now drive LiquidIQ, a newly branded platform combining the technologies of the two companies. Jessop earlier co-founded and led the studios at Boston-based mobile gaming company LuckyLabs.
Liquid, which was itself acquired by PCH (Publishers Clearing House) in 2011, says the buy is part of a larger strategic vision and will allow clients to target advertising based on consumer behavior and PCH's first-party registration data, which currently totals around 150 million profiles.
Liquid GM Steve Bagdasarian comments: 'We're excited to have Noah on our team. We're confident that his expertise, alongside the automation platform he helped develop, will ensure Liquid's leading position in providing scalable, deterministic ad targeting products to the market'.
