Opinium Research Names Technology Head
London-based full service agency Opinium Research has hired former Millward Brown exec James Sweatman to head its Technology division.
Founded in 2007, Opinium offers qual and quant research and consultancy across five practice areas - brand and communications, product and service development, stakeholder, market intelligence and thought leadership. In addition, the company owns and manages panels of UK consumers, IFAs and small businesses, and runs an omnibus which interviews 2000 UK adults in each wave.
Sweatman (pictured) joins after serving in an in-house Insight Director role at PR firm Freud Communications, helping to deliver bespoke research to aid decision-making and external communications. Prior to this he worked as a Client Manager at Millward Brown, including a secondment to the Global Marketing Research team at Accenture; and earlier in his career he was an RE at BPRI.
