Rentrak and MovieTickets to Create Feedback Tools
In the US, audience measurement specialist Rentrak has partnered with advance ticketing firm MovieTickets.com to produce a suite of marketing, planning and ROI measurement tools for the movie and TV industries.
Through the partnership, Rentrak will link its merged TV viewing and box office sales ticket information with MovieTickets.com's individual-level ticket purchasing data, representing 28,000 screens, to help studios and TV programmers target TV advertising and measure campaign success.
The tools aim to link television viewing and moviegoing, and will include a combination of movie data and demographic household information, allowing audience targeting for clients including movie studios, ad agencies and television programmers.
