Komli Revs Up Data-Driven Mobile Ad Firm
India-based digital advertising and technology firm Komli Media will inject $4m in funding for the international launch of its mobile ad company, RevX, which uses data-driven predictive software to provide insights into consumer behaviour.
RevX taps into vast amounts of data to help mobile marketers personalize ads based on user behavior, increasing app retention and user engagement.
The business, which already has 30 clients, has secured $4m in funding from Komli's existing investors Norwest, Nexus, Helion, DFJ and Peepul Capital. It will be headed by Mukesh Agarwal as Chief Exec and Ruksh Chatterji as COO. Agarwal joined Komli Media in 2012 as Senior Director, Product Management & User Experience, and more recently served as its VP & Head of Products. Before this, he worked for Microsoft in senior engineering and program management roles. Chatterji previously served as Komli's VP, India Region, and earlier he was CEO at Jabong.com and a Consultant at Bain & Company.
