New Leader for Future Thinking's Quantum Lab
UK-based business intelligence specialist Future Thinking has appointed Dan Young as Research Director and Head of its Quantum Lab in London.
Quantum Lab is an in-house innovation, product development and brand insight think tank launched in 2011. The division works alongside academics, thought leaders and clients to produce new research and analytical techniques and solve business issues.
Young (pictured) joins from confectioner Thorntons, where he initially served as Head of Brand Communications before moving into the role of Head of Insight, responsible for articulating the company brand position and communication strategy. Prior to this, he was Insight Manager at Virgin Media, and Research Manager at Boots, having begun his research career at Ipsos (then RSL).
In his new role, Young is responsible for the continued development of smarter research solutions aimed at delivering more valuable insight. CEO Jon Priest comments: 'Dan is a passionate and intelligent advocate of high quality consumer and shopper insight and brings a wealth of knowledge to the roles.
