Australia's Stable Research Buys Stake in MDI
Full-service agency Stable Research has bought a stake in mobile-based consumer MR firm Mobile Digital Indaba (MDI), partnering to create what the firms say will be Australia's largest dedicated mobile research community / panel.
Stable Research provides people and data for a range of research methodologies including face-to-face, communities, product clinics and online surveys - with a panel of 120,000 members including mums and mums-to-be as well as other consumers. MDI has large-scale mobile marketing communities in Australia, Indonesia and South Africa, and also offers ad hoc mobile research and big data analytics services. The combination involves the integration of MDI's mobile solutions with Stable's panel management and optimisation expertise.
James Fergusson, founder of MDI, comments: 'MDI and Stable share the philosophy that respect for consumers is paramount to delivering insightful market research. The partnership between our likeminded companies challenges the status quo through large scale specialist mobile research, offering the delivery of fast turnaround, cost effective insights and the facilitation of effective business planning and decision making'.
Pip Hooper, Partner at Stable Research, adds: 'Both companies have practiced the belief that innovation in technology is a key pillar for successful business. This partnership with great people and robust systems furnishes our clients with a competitive advantage that was not possible a few years ago'.
