Acast and Nepa Build Swedish Podcast Listener Panel
Podcasting platform Acast has partnered with brand tracking specialist Nepa, to launch what the firms say is the first research panel to exclusively engage podcast listeners in Sweden.
Through podcastpanelen.se, members can participate in studies on more general topics around advertising and entertainment, as well as attitudes to podcasting itself. As a thank you, panellists will receive benefits such as cinema tickets and film rentals, or they can choose to make a charity donation to the WWF.
Olle Råghall, Nepa's Commercial Manager Media, says the panel will create a better experience for listeners and podcasters alike, while providing advertisers with insights into preferences and behavior. Öjje Holt, Commercial Manager Acast, adds: 'We are very proud that we are taking ownership of this issue in Sweden. It is an important step in using research to provide better metrics, more insights and a more thorough campaign follow up in the podcasting medium'.
