Qual Fieldwork Firms Merge
In the US, Atlanta-based Jackson Associates Research, Inc. has merged with Californian company Adept Consumer Testing.
Adept, which has offices in Beverly Hills and Encino, will become a division of the company with the name Jackson Adept Research, preserving a long-established brand name. The merged company will be headquartered in Atlanta where its facilities will continue to operate as Jackson Associates.
The firms say the new company will provide both sets of clients with 'easy, bi-coastal access to respondents in large markets, a highly qualified, diverse pool of respondents for each project, spacious and luxurious focus suites, and one dedicated project manager to oversee projects on both coasts'.
Jackson Associates was founded in 1957 by Marilyn Jackson and later owned and expanded by Margaret Hicks. Current CEO Marisa Pope says the merger 'makes complete sense for our clients. Each company currently holds the largest, most up-to-date, independent database in our markets. We each understand the need for purposeful, targeted recruiting in order to gain the valuable insights our clients can use to grow and strengthen their businesses'. Mark Tobias, President Emeritus of the newly merged firm, says clients 'will see the same attention to detail, regardless of how big Jackson grows'.
