Turnkey Hires Donté Scott for Newly Created CIO Role
In the US, consumer insight specialist Turnkey Intelligence (TI) has hired sports and entertainment researcher Donté Scott for a newly created role, Executive Vice President and Chief Insights Officer.
The firm focuses on generating consumer feedback to help clients in the sports and entertainment industries make decisions about ticketing, sponsorship, marketing and sales. Scott (pictured) joins after eight years at brand experience agency Jack Morton Worldwide, most recently as SVP, Research and Analytics - this role includes managing the measurement and tracking of General Motors' annual $200m+ sponsorship investment portfolio. Before this, he was VP, Strategy and Learning at General Motors R*Works, and he co-founded Leisure Intelligence Group. Independently, Scott has consulted for clients including Major League Baseball, ESPN and Sports Illustrated.
In his new role, he will focus on the development of TI's approach to monitoring and evaluating marketing partnerships for sponsors, while overseeing all the firm's custom research sales, and directing its team of analysts.
President Haynes Hendrickson comments: 'Donté has accomplished so much in his career already. Our innovative company culture and focus on development are a great fit with his creativity. We truly believe the sky is the limit in terms of what Turnkey's research division has the potential to become with Donté at the helm'.
