Board Changes at GfK
GfK has announced that Debbie Pruent will retire at the end of December, and will be replaced by David Krajicek as Chief Commercial Officer for the Consumer Experiences sector. In addition, Alessandra Cama will take up the new role of Chief Operations Officer.
Pruent joined the Board in 2007 with a twenty-year background in marketing and consultancy positions in the automotive sector. She is currently responsible for Consumer Experiences (COO CE), and prior to this was COO of GfK Custom Research North America, and CEO of NOP World Automotive, which was acquired by GfK in 2005. Before this she spent ten years with General Motors and then worked for auto market researchers Allison-Fisher International.
At the beginning of next year, she will be replaced by Krajicek, who currently serves as Regional COO North America, Consumer Experiences, and whose title will be Chief Commercial Officer Consumer Experiences. Cama, currently Regional COO APAC, Consumer Choices, will join the Board as COO, responsible for all local and global operations functions across GfK. Gerhard Hausruckinger will continue to lead the Consumer Choices sector as Chief Commercial Officer, and the CEO and CFO roles remain unchanged.
CEO Matthias Hartmann comments: 'I want to thank Debbie Pruent for her key role in transforming our Consumer Experiences business over the past years. She is a great colleague and friend to all of us in the Management Board. Filling the gap, I am pleased to see outstanding talent at GfK ready for the next step'.
