CentraForce Launches Population Health Analysis Arm
In the US, audience-centric marketing intelligence firm CentraForce has set up a new business called CentraForce Health, which will offer consumer insights to the healthcare sector through a platform called Population 360.
CentraForce Health's products also include a community health needs assessment compliance suite and patient profiler, which give information on providers seen, hospitals visited, payer mix, medication adherence and access to care. It also offers data on the population health status of chronic diseases and co-morbidities, data about health behavior and beliefs, cancer survivor rates, and contributing conditions details.
The new Population 360° platform draws from multiple sources and offers over 100,000 measures surveyed across more than 15 million locally sampled respondents in every market throughout the US, in order to provide location and quantification data by disease type, payer type, or other known attributes.
Clinical information systems specialist Charley Boicey says the new platform 'gives healthcare systems the insights they need to understand and measure the overall health of their populations'. He adds: 'It would be almost impossible to acquire, then aggregate on your own the types and breadth of data that the company includes in its platform'.
