Verve Appoints Eleven and Launches in Leeds
In the UK, online communities specialist Verve has opened a Northern office in Leeds, and appointed Bryony Hughes to lead it. Ten more staff have also joined the company in its offices in London, Chicago and Iasi (Romania).
Verve North will provide more local service to clients including Morrisons, Leeds Building Society, Matalan and others. Retail and FMCG specialist Hughes was formerly an Account Director at Trinity McQueen in Leeds, and spent four years at its predecessor company Brass after working as a Maths Teacher.
In Chicago, Anthony Walton joins as Senior Research Manager. He worked previously at Peryam & Kroll and Millward Brown; and former LG Electronics exec Nancy Baum joins as a Research Manager.
In London, former Basis Research & GfK exec Alistair Shutt joins as Research Director, and Alice Banfield - previously at GfK Finance - as Qualitative AD. Qasim Aziz, formerly of DLG, and Pepe Lopez, from Circulo Cuadrado, join as Web Designers. Reena Nemchand is appointed as Qualitative Research Manager after working at Bright Blue Research; and former SCB Partners researcher Louise Littleton takes the role of Senior Research Executive.
In Romania, Verve has appointed Andreea Stoian, formerly of Simba Invest, as a Data Executive; while Stefania Filimon joins from A&B Pharm Corporation in the same role.
