Research Now Seeks New President and CEO

Digital data collection specialist Research Now is looking for a new President and CEO, following Kurt Knapton's decision to resign for personal reasons. He will remain on the Board of Directors once his successor has been identified.

Kurt KnaptonKnapton (pictured) returned to the company in 2011, after a stint as CEO of natural power provider Abundant Energy. Prior to this he was EVP, Chief Revenue Officer of Research Now parent company e-Rewards, where he worked for nine years. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at management consultancies Accenture and Booz Allen and Hamilton.

Knapton is stepping down from his role to spend time with his father, who is battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

John Civantos, Board member and Managing Partner at Court Square Capital Partners, the majority owner of Research Now, comments: 'We want to thank Kurt for his visionary leadership and are tremendously appreciative of the industry-leading company he helped launch and grow during his twelve years of total service. We will continue to benefit from his ongoing involvement as a Board member and significant investor in Research Now, and we will quickly move to identify his successor and ensure a smooth transition'.
