MARSC Promotes Allan Shaw to MD
Surrey, UK-based sampling and panel management specialist MARSC has promoted Allan Shaw to Managing Director, responsible for all commercial, operational and business development activities.
 MARSC's sample and panel tools are used for broad consumer research or for smaller panels dedicated to specific topics, and the sampling tool can also be used to manage surveys using other data collection methods including telephone research.
Shaw (pictured) re-joined the firm in 2013 as Sales Manager, and at the beginning of this year was promoted to the role of Director of Sales & Marketing. He first worked for MARSC as Business Development Manager between 2008 and 2010, then moved to become Head of Business Development at MR IT services specialist Cobalt Sky, followed by a spell as a UK Senior Account Manager at panel exchange operator Cint.
Company founder Julian Simpson, from whom Shaw takes over and who will now focus on technical consultancy, says the business will 'benefit immeasurably' from Shaw's leadership.
