HyPR Gains Funds for Social Media Influencer Platform
In the US, social media influencer marketing platform HyPR Brands has raised $5m in a seed round of financing.
Clients and agencies can use HyPR's search engine to access influencers across the main social media networks. The firm's technology aims to crawl every social media account in the world, and create an index of influencers that are searchable by their audience demographics.
HyPR's new funding has been led by Edgewater Capital, with participation from Silvertech Ventures, Star Farm, Klingenstein Fields and a number of strategic angel investors.
CEO and co-founder Gil Eyal (pictured) comments: 'Our technology is enabling brands to get a clear understanding of the followers themselves with analytics they can trust. This enables brands to finally target their audience accurately and get the right message across to relevant customers'.
