SIS International Adds Big Data Practice
US-based SIS International Research has launched a new practice called SIS Big Data Solutions, complementing its traditional research methods by applying big data across all industry segments.
Founded in 1984, the firm offers a full range of services including fieldwork, data collection and strategic market research, from offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Frankfurt, Manila and Shanghai. Services range from opinion, satisfaction and loyalty research to segmentation, competitive intelligence and usability testing.
The new division offers access to a new big data platform and methodology it calls SIS-SQREEM Technologies, which bring together consumer attitudes with behavioral data and census information.
CEO Ruth Stanat (pictured) says the new practice will enable corporations to make decisions faster, identify disruptors in the market and use their human capital more efficiently. 'The extension of applying big data to traditional research was a logical and natural next step in the evolution of the company', she adds.
