Ve Interactive Buys Former eBay Retargeting Business

In the US, eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions has sold its Display Retargeting business to digital ad specialist Ve Interactive for an undisclosed sum.

eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions was recently launched as an independent company following eBay's sell-off of its Enterprise business to a group of investment firms. The Display Retargeting arm enables companies to target ads at consumers who previously visited their web site.

The companies say the acquisition will increase Ve's client base to more than 10,000 online businesses, and its total staff to more than 850 across 34 offices worldwide. All employees from the eBay Enterprise Display Retargeting business will be retained.

eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions itself acquired retail performance agency Digital Net Agency (DNA), in early November.
