Rise Buys Personalization Specialist SimpleRelevance
Digital marketing and analytics agency Rise Interactive has acquired SimpleRelevance, a platform that personalizes marketing messages using machine learning. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded by Erik Severinghaus in 2011, Chicago-based SimpleRelevance combines past purchase history for each customer with demographic and social media data from a variety of external partners. This is used to build a 360° profile and help marketers generate personalized landing pages, e-mail, digital ads, social media messages and SMS text campaigns.
Rise Interactive says the acquisition will enhance its own cross-channel personalization capabilities. Founder and CEO Jon Morris comments: 'SimpleRelevance's expertise will be an outstanding asset to our clients and our growing cross-channel personalization capabilities. It's a natural fit for us to join forces'.
