CLVmetrics Launches Out of Stealth, Hires COO
In the US, predictive analytics start-up CLVmetrics has launched out of stealth with the appointment of marketing technology professional Scott Samios as Chief Operating Officer.
Founded earlier this year by students of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and their professor, CLVmetrics is based in Philadelphia and New York City, and offers an analytical suite to uncover a customer's lifetime value (CLV), identifying the most valuable customers and developing marketing strategies to target and retain them.
Samios (pictured) was most recently Chief Revenue Officer at marketing specialist Extole, having previously worked as VP Global Sales at web personalisation software provider Monetate. Earlier, he was General Manager at A/B testing and personalization provider Offermatica, and then became Regional Director, Sales at Omniture when it acquired Offermatica.
In his new role, Samios is tasked with building a team to bring the firm's offer to market. Artem Mariychin, co-founder and CEO, comments: 'As someone who has successfully scaled up organizations coming out of the incubation phase, Scott's expertise and leadership will be invaluable in catapulting us through growth stage'.
