Kantar Health Ups Murino for New European CEO Role

Kantar Health has promoted Michel Murino to the newly created role of Chief Executive Officer for Europe.

Murino (pictured) joined TNS Sofres in 1999 as Head of Healthcare. Following the firm's takeover by WPP and subsequent integration into Kantar, he has served in a number of roles at Kantar Health, including General Manager, Global Oncology; Global Head, Clients and Accounts; and most recently, CEO, Southern Europe & France. Earlier, after gaining a Medical Degree from Nice University, he held management roles at Ciba-Geigy, Novartis and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.

In his new position, Murino will lead the company's European business, helping it to address clients' country-specific business issues. All leaders of Kantar Health's European units, including the recently acquired CEEOR business, will report to Murino.
