ISG Debuts Business IT Trend Analysis Service
US-based insights and advisory firm Information Services Group (ISG) has launched a new service that offers fact-based perspectives on trends and operational shifts impacting the business IT landscape.
Founded in 2007 as an acquisition vehicle, ISG first bought outsourcing advisory firm TPI, then UK-based benchmarking and analytics specialist Compass, public sector advisor STA Consulting, and emerging IT trends analyst Saugatuck Technology. The firm's new ISG Insights service is built on Saugatuck's subscription research capabilities, combined with ISG's insight into all aspects of IT and business process outsourcing.
According to ISG, this service offers a 'so what / now what' approach to help clients understand an issue or problem quickly, fact-based, buy-side studies, and qual/quant-based perspective and guidance provided by ISG's team of analysts. Initial coverage includes emerging trends and markets; business IT strategy and transformation; sourcing strategies; and provider governance, integration and operations.
Bill McNee (pictured), CEO of ISG's Saugatuck Technology business unit, comments: 'In addition to published research, ISG Insights subscribers gain access to our experienced team of analysts for direct inquiry and guidance, and admission to online and in-person executive events. Our expertise on both the enterprise and IT provider sides of the market, our objectivity, and our fact-based guidance make for a compelling and unique value proposition.'
