Merkle Buys UK-Based CRM Specialist Comet

US consumer insights and analytics specialist Merkle has acquired Bristol, UK-based CRM, marketing and decision management solutions provider Comet Global Consulting. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2006, Comet provides strategy and business consulting from 'Customer Interaction Centres' in Barcelona, Spain and Atlanta, USA. Advisory services include data management and analytics, insights, customer journey planning, and integrated customer marketing strategies. The firm employs more than 300 people, who will join Merkle's Marketing Solutions Group following the acquisition - Merkle's seventh in two years.
