Obituary: Financial Services Researcher Sharon Rees

UK financial services industry research expert Sharon Rees died peacefully on Saturday 27 February, following a short battle with cancer.

Rees had served as a Director of London-based financial and business specialist Charterhouse Research since 2010, having previously spent eleven years at TNS, where she was latterly Group Director, Financial & Professional Services, in charge of a team of 25 people. She previously worked for NFO/TNS Financial Services, and she was an RE at Infratest Burke, and Research Solutions.

In a statement, Charterhouse Research MD Julie Irwin said: 'Sharon was a very professional, highly motivated, enthusiastic, and much loved member of our team, all of whom feel privileged to have worked with her. She was highly valued and respected by her clients in banking, insurance and investment markets.'

Rees is survived by her husband Andy and her two young children Ffion and Laszlo.
