Ipsos Hires Millennials, Kids and Family Specialist
Janet Oak has joined Ipsos as Senior Vice President of the Millennials, Kids & Family Center of Excellence, based in New York.
Reporting to Joe Cesaria, Senior Vice President, U.S., Ipsos Connect, Oak will lead all market intelligence relating to the youth and family cohorts, and facilitate global research initiatives across a variety of industries. She joins from Galileo Global Branding Group where she spent three years as Head of Global Advisory & Custom Shopper Insights; and was previously in charge of new product and program research as Managing Partner of The Family Room, for seven years. Earlier in her career she worked in publishing, on technology lifestyle magazines, in account planning for creative and design agencies, and as VP of Insights & Strategy at Drinks giant Pernod Ricard.
Cesaria says of the appointment: 'There are few, if any, brands that could not benefit from a deeper understanding of how to engage with kids, parents and Millennials - segments that require specific messaging and value propositions.
