IRI Division Presidents in North America
Information Resources Inc has announced the promotions of Neil Canter to Division President, Analytic Insights Group, and David Shanker to Division President, Client Service North America.
'These moves are part of IRI's ongoing plans to evolve and strengthen our North America business,' IRI Chairman and CEO Joe Durrett said. 'Under Neil's leadership, our Analytic Insights Group has grown revenue and profits at double-digit rates over the past three years by providing industry-leading analysis of consumer response to marketing activity. This group is successfully penetrating IRI's existing blue-chip client base and winning business from the competition. Promoting Neil to Division President demonstrates IRI's commitment to investing in and growing the analytic insights business.'
'David is the ideal leader to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our Client Service organization, which provides service and support to our U.S. clients. Over the last three years he has successfully managed different parts of the client service organization and prior to that he led IRI's Retail Client Service group,' Durrett said.
Canter previously was Executive Vice President and General Manager of IRI's Analytic Insights Group, with responsibility for all U.S. based modeling, testing, and custom household panel services. He is a 21-year veteran of the CPG industry. Before joining IRI in 1998, Canter was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and head of Analytics at Marketing Management Analytics (MMA), where he led development of advanced marketing mix optimisation tools.
Shanker, who has been with IRI for more than nine years, has more than 20 years of CPG experience, including five years on the supplier side at Bristol Myers and Time Life Medical and 13 years in the syndicated market research business with Towne-Oller.
