Digital Analytics Assoc Hires Full-Time Exec Director
In the US, the Digital Analytics Association (DAA) has hired Marilee Yorchak as full-time Executive Director, with operational responsibility for all of its programs and activities, plus supervising staff and vendor relationships.
Founded as the Web Analytics Association in 2004, the DAA is a not-for-profit association which offers professional development and networking opportunities for analytics execs. The organization has nearly 4,000 members around the world.
Yorchak (pictured) previously served as Executive Director of the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing Association, where she oversaw growth from 75 to more than 500 members. Earlier, she served as Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing Association for nearly nine years. She is currently the Chair of the editorial committee for the Colorado Society of Association Executives, and a member of the advisory board of the University of Northern Colorado Monfort College of Business, Department of Marketing.
Commenting on the appointment, DAA President Casey Carey, who is also Director, Google Analytics Marketing at Google, said: 'I can't overstate how pleased I am that Marilee has come on board to oversee our organization's efforts during a very exciting time. She brings to the DAA both remarkable energy and deep, relevant experience, and I know she will make wonderful contributions'.
