Gartner Veteran Jim Sinur Joins Aragon Research

Technology-focused research and advisory firm Aragon Research has hired Gartner veteran Jim Sinur as a Research Fellow.

Palo Alto-based Aragon, founded in 2011 by former Gartner execs Jim Lundy and Mike Anderson, offers a range of services to support strategy development, go-to-market planning, vendor selection, community management, and gaming and simulation content development.

Sinur (pictured) joins after nearly twenty years at Gartner, where he was part of the team that introduced the first Hype Cycle and Maturity Model. Prior to Gartner, he served as Director of World Wide Technologies at American Express, and held senior roles at Northwestern Mutual and Wehr Steel. His areas of experience include business modeling, business process management technology (iBPMS), process collaboration for knowledge workers, and process intelligence/optimization.

In his new role, Sinur will lead coverage of digital transformation, business process management (BPM), and the Internet of Things (IoT).
