Geofeedia Adds Enterprise-Level Location Platform
In the US, location intelligence specialist Geofeedia has launched an enterprise version of its platform, through which organizations of all sizes can predict, analyze and act on geotagged posts from social media networks such as Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
Geofeedia's cloud-based platform enables access to publicly available, user-generated content organized by geographic location in real-time. In February, the firm raised $17m in funding, to further develop its map-based platform, which uses a patented suite of data aggregation algorithms to uncover intelligence from specific geographic locations in real-time; and engage and target at a local level.
Companies using the new enterprise-level solution can manage local, regional and global team initiatives through user and group management, and content sharing options. They can also fully customize user access; maintain complete audit trails for internal compliance tracking; and conduct enhanced analytics across activity, keywords, sentiment and users to detect location-specific patterns and trends.
CEO and co-founder Phil Harris (pictured) comments: 'We recognize that every organization is made up of different team structures and divisions that require unique workflows and permissions to drive their business needs. Now, whatever the size or complexity of your organization or team, Geofeedia can be configured to match the existing way in which your business works and fully unlock the power of location-based intelligence'.
